Jul 26, 2010 / LT1045 transmission release not working #2 R rcbe Platinum Member Joined Mar 5, 2008 Messages 758 you may not be puuling the release rod out far enough to where it latches (see yer owner's manual)... or the park brake mechanism is not releasing to allow freewheeling (check the disc/caliper on the tranny case side).
