LT1022-Grease nipples

Just bought a new LT1022 and was going to grease up the mower deck. I found the nipples under the deck, above the blade.?? The manual shows them up top. Is this right? One rock(s) would rip the things right off. I can't imagine that I have to take my mower deck off and turn it over to grease the three shafts. /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Where are the grease nipples suppose to be?

cub cadet screwed up when they printed the manual. it still shows some diagrams of the 1500 series from last year. on the 1000 series the fittings should be on the bottom. take notice that on a few pictures they show the center wheel on the deck which does not exist on the 1000 series. they must have been in a hurry printing them. when i had my 1022 i was able to reach with a grease gun but it was a pain.
