LT 1050 Spindles

Has anyone else had trouble with the deck spindles on you LT 1000 series? I had to replace one last season, at my cost of course, because the bolt warped on me and would not let the spindle spin. I at first thought I could have hit something, as the dealer had proposed. I am now getting the same humming noise coming from the deck that I did before it went out the first time. I know I have not hit anything this season. Any ideas? Is this a trouble point for my beloved mower? Other then that little problem, I have no other complaints. *After I figured out how to disable the no mow in reverse over ride*

I wonder if the deck shell is flexing causing the blade spindle housings to warp?!? Do you let the deck ride fully on the ground when you mow? That is very rough on this style deck.

My 50" deck does not mow well; it leaves a "line of grass; has done it since new. No problems with spindles so far.

yes i do mow on the lowest setting, but i thought rollers would not allow the deck to flex much? also, im thinking about going with a "gator" blade. anyone had any expereince? where is the best place to get them?

Dont let the wheels ride on the ground while mowing with this deck. These gauge wheels are intended to keep the deck from striking the ground on uneven terrain.
