LT 1050, slow reverse

Is there anyway to speed up the reverse on this suker?

I've only used this thing once so far and noticed how slow it was in reverse. I has a MTD and you could go as fast in reverse as you could in forward gears.

If you have Hydrostatic drive the forward and backward speeds are related to the pedal adjustment. You have to adjust the pedal s for a little less forward speed to get a little more backward speed. I never could get as much speed out of my 3235 that I had with my 1450.
