LS XU5065CPS / Kioti NX6010 w/ cab pricing

Hey folks, I'm finally in a position to purchase a new tractor when I return home in a few weeks and am looking for some advice and quotes, if possible. I have a 115 acre farm in KY, 8 acres of pasture, and the rest woods. That type of set up screams open station to me, but please feel free to comment on that. I've gotten a few quotes on open station XU5055 and XU5065 models, but I'm getting up there in age... 30 this September . I'm looking to do bush hogging in the field and woods, skid out logs, box blade the driveway, and not outgrow the tractor. The the cab option is a fancy wish, though open station seems to fit my needs more. Please send your thoughts and pricing on the XU5065/NX6010 if have them.

To be honest, anything is better than the Farmall H I currently run. Tricycle front end in the woods on hills has nearly ended me.

Figsbon, I replied to your pm but didn't realize your farm was in Ky. If you're not too far away from Central City, I recommend talking to Two Rivers, Inc. in Powderly. That's where I bought my LS and while they're small, they're good people.

I never got a quote on an NX 6010, but I did get them on the three smaller versions, and they averaged $1500 between sizes. I was quoted $32,500 for a 5510 and adding the CD player ($250), rear wiper ($150) and two rear remotes ($600) put the final price right around $34K. That should put a 6010 around $35,500 out the door (without tax).

Correct. But the OP doesn't sound like he is going to do the small farm work the RX is meant for. Basic utility like what Eric does sounds more in his line.

Probably, not sure exactly how the LS tractors spec out though in that regard.

LS XR series directly competes with the Kioti NX series. Only main difference is that the LS loaders don't lift as high...which is consistent when comparing them across the entire segment, except for Branson, which has a similarly low lift height
