LS XR4140 Hydraulic question

Does anyone have a manual that shows the amount of hydraulic oil (gallons/quarts) that the hydraulic/rear-end requires? I managed to get the dipstick pulled out of the rear differential, the only bad design I've found on this little tractor so far, don't understand why they couldn't have done a standard dipstick with an finger hole to check level like most tractors. I had to pull it with a pair of pliers to get it out.
it appeared empty. I only have 150 hrs on it. Shouldn't be empty. Yes I've had to go around and tighten hydraulic connections but never had a leak big enough to justify being empty. Anyway I'm off to Atwoods or Tractor supply to get fluid tomorrow and need to know how many gallons the manual says it should hold. I can find a simply PDF version online.

Did you do your fluid changes as specified in the owners manual ? My friend has that same tractor and i believe it took a little over 8 gals . Do you have the owners manual ? All the specs are in their.

No I didn't get one when I bought the tractor and those things are hell to to find. I'm sure I'll take it to the dealer to do the fluid changes but he's an hour a way. The location they put that oil filter wasn't thought out well, almost impossible to get to with the loader attached and it's a side mount instead under motor. As for a 40 hp it's a very well built little machine, lots of extras you don't get on other 40 hp. I need to get some hydraulic fluid today and track down the leak location before we put it to work Friday.
