LS versus TYM

highdes here. Well today (2/19) I was ready to go look at the u5030c tractor that I had intended to purchase, but decided to back out. I had checked the LS website to locate a dealer and according to the site the dealer was roughly 167 miles from me, so I get the map and start adding the miles and it ends up being 255 miles away. I called the dealer and told him that was just too far to go, sorry! Maybe some time in the future LS will get a dealer much closer, untill that time comes --- thanks to all the forum advice.

My dealer is about 1000 miles away because I refused to deal with the idiot 250 miles away.
I have spoken to a NH dealer and they will not have an issue doing warranty work if LS approves it.
I will plead my case to them so that they can understand why I will not go to that person. If they allow it, I will go to NH, if they don't ill drive it 310 miles to get it fixed.

At the low rate LS owners are complaining, I will deal with the issue when time comes. Until then I will enjoy each second of my incredible tractor.

Don't let distance be a factor, call LS maybe there is someone closer.

Am looking to purchase either the LS u5030c or the TYM t603c and would like to get some owner response.

I would defiantly look into the Tym t603. I have one. So far I've had a trouble free 181 hours You just have to watch that radiator. If its going to be dusty you have to blow it out Other then that I'm happy. Thousand less than a slightly smaller John Deere

Did you do the advanced search, where you send your name and adress to LS to find a closer dealer?

No, Idid not try the advanced search, but I called the Corp. office and did get a response from the man (don't remember the name) who sets up the dealerships and he confirmed the dealers I had looked at. There is a chance that LS will get a dealer in Colorado who will be about 160 miles from me, when and if it happens I'll have another look.
