1356554570091.jpgI agree Gary, I have a LS 7010 and when I load the bucket up with shale or wet top soil it will lift the rear end. I loaded the back tires and have not had any issues. Just studded the front tires with Maxigrip studs for winter up here in Canada. Good on ice to help with steering.

Well now I'm in a pickle... Didn't get as much as I wanted for my 4 tractor so I may have to go with the 5030, or take the hit and get the 7010... I go to the dealer tomorrow and guess I will make the choice there.

$37k for the 7010C, 2012
Or
$31k for 5030C, 2011

Man I hate make tuff choices like this.

Well, the 7010 is about 30% more tractor than the 5030 for about 20% more money. How much is your time worth? Even if everything was equal and we know that it is not, if you could get 13 hours worth of work done in 10, that has to be something to consider. So 26 hours worth of work with the 5030 vs 20 hours of work with the 7010 to get the same thing done. Being a weekender, that has to look pretty good I would think. ;)

but since most of my work is just fertilizing, weeding (round up sprayer), grass cutting and lifting palm trees (I think I will be able to lift 90% of the palm trees) its hard to justify getting the more expensive one.
My brain says 7010 but my parole officer (wife) says 5030...I guess I will just have to figure it out when I get there.... hoping for a no bias choice...lol

OK, I must have misunderstood what you were going to be doing. :confused3: I thought that you were clearing-cleaning up the place while selling the palms. My mistake. :sorry:

No you where right.. The goal is to clear it out but I need to clean and bring some life in to them so that I can sell them.

Thanks for all the input, I hope to make the right decision tomorrow.
Will keep you all posted.

Have them figure out what the difference in the payments would be each month. It may be less than what you think. If it's too much, then get the 5030.
