Yes, just bungee the remote lever to on, ;and then operate the BH.
You could also bypass the remote, by running a hose from FEL PB out directly to the rear with QD, and hose from the BH PB port to the IN port of the remote. The tank hose needs to go to tank. So now, at the rear, you have two hoses with QD's, and one hose for tank. You would plug in the BH hoses, tank hose to tank and be fine.
If you have the BH removed, then connect a short jumper to the two QD;s .
The removed BH should have three hoses attached. Wrap the hose ends when storing.
