Hello,

I am looking to pickup a manure spreader that will be a good size for my tractor.

I have about 40 acres i'd like to spread manure on in the fall and i have no idea what size new holland or john deere spreader would be a good fit.

Do anybody have recommendations?

I see things like this out there but don't know if its too small or too big etc.

How much and what type if manure will
You be spreading? Will it be wet and sloppy or packed hay or straw?

We used to pull 180 bushel rear beater spreader with tractors of similar size. They had hydraulic tail gate for sloppy manure and if memory is correct either three or four selectable speeds for unloading apron so you could set speed slow for the hay and straw packed loads from loafing shed or around feed bunks.
