A brush hog will leave a nice finished cut IF you adjust the level and pitch of the brush hog properly, sharpen the blades for grass (you want it dull for brush and woody weeds), run the tractor at the PTO speed, don't try to go too fast and cut the grass more frequently instead of trying to cut heavy, thick, tall grass/weeds once a year.@Torvy yeah, I think the finish mower might be a litte lite for what I am doing. But I am wanting a better looking cut. the bush hogging alway looks so rough. Thanks & hope you enjoy retirement.
