Very well done. Thanks

Great design and video to document, looks like I've a new winter project. I'd been pondering a way to do this, now I know a good one. And, I've just happen to have an un-used engine stand in the shop gathering dust and in the way, I'll put it to good use.

Thanks

You are welcome. Be careful when you set it down. That is the only hairy part. Thank you watching.

Any thought to putting a strap on it to 'lift' it into place prior to setting the hoe - that way it would be attached at landing on the ground, seems a prudent approach?

Not a bad idea! It is not that heavy. I may look into that. Thank you.

Again, an awesome video! I also have an unused engine stand that will be repurposed. You make it all easy. What color blue paint did you use? TSC has "ford blue" and "ford / new holland blue", I wasn't sure which one is a better match.

I used the New Holland blue. It is not a great match, but OK for this. Thank you for watching.

When I modified my grill guard a couple of years ago I took it to Sherwin Williams to get color scanned. This matches very well.

Another popular paint option is the Rustoleum safety blue. I bought a gallon (Lowes) though you can get it in quarts and spray too I believe.

Thanks tomplum. Just added a couple of $5.33 cans, of the Safety Blue, onto an Amazon order I was placing. If it’s close, it may be good for small touchups. The spray cans from LS are over $10. My excellent LS Dealer comped me a couple of cans to fix shipping damage on my 84” LS Rear Finish Mower.

Someone else has suggested the Rustoleum Sail Blue but, it’s not that close.

Today I built my dolly with the Harbor Freight base and it came out nice. Needs some clean up and finish welding but that's tomorrows project. Here are some pictures.
Enjoy.
