From what I understand reading various pieces of information from LS, the engines are built under license from Mitsubishi but seems that the regent cycles are different and I don't know enough to draw any similarities to equivalent HP Mitsu engines.
Does anyone know any equivalent Mitsubishi engines and if there is any interchangeability in parts?

Welcome to TBN.....

When LS started producing their own brand LS tractors back in 2009 they were associated with Mitsubishi and used Mitsu engines in their tractor. Later they went with Shibaura engines and now they have designed their own LS engine.
The same Mitsu and Shibaura engines are used in many other tractor brands and other than different electronic tunes are basically the same and parts are interchangeable.
You have to know which model engine you have such as an S3L, S4L2, S4QL, etc. Then you can find the same engines in New Holland, Montana, Massey Ferguson, McCormick, and others.

P series has an Italian Iveco engine... And no Regen.
