Thanks. I saw that oil but it looks like it's more for Euro cars/trucks. Do Europeans even have trucks?

We have trucks in Europe. Like a Scania R730, V8, 730HP, awesome sound with a straight pipe. Volvo, DAF, Mercedes, MAN, etc.

So what I have gathered from this it is only the turbo engine that has the issue?

I have the same engine just N/A so I don't think this is an issue for me. I will be doing my first oil change at 30 hours instead of 50 hours now that you guys have scared the crap out of me with the factory oil. I will look to see the Manufacturing date when I get home to which oil it is coming from at the factory.

so should we be using 0w40 or 5w40 in these engines.i read the bulletin and seen both mentioned.im in arkansas and i use rotella t6 5w40 synthetic in mine.im at 135 hours and no problems at all

The manual for my XR4155HC gives specifics for oil for min / max temperature ranges. Check your maintenance section.
