LS 7010 Electrical Issue With Differential Lock

I thought that it would be nice to share an issue I had with my differential lock. Last winter when I needed to use my differential lock I had to keep the switch pushed in for it to work. As soon as I let go of the switch the differential lock would not engage. So a month ago I thought I would report it to my LS dealer here in New Brunswick Canada (Patterson's). My 7010 is a 2012 with just over 600 hours on it and the management team at Patterson's were very good. They quickly sent me a module that is located just under the steering wheel that fixed the problem. It probably took me about 10 minutes to replace the device. If anyone has a problem, this is a picture of the device they replaced.

Sounds like you have a great dealer.
Also sounds and looks like you have an electronic diff lock control that uses that control module.
Glad it was an easy fix.

If we all report any issues we have it makes it easier for all of us to know what to look for. It also helps to tell our dealers that others are having the same problems. I am very appreciative to have a site like this to go to for information and many great idea's.
