LS 4147EZ motor problem

Hi guys im new to this forum and to LS. just wanted to share, i bought a 4047 EZ in Sicily island la and ran it for 2,5 hours and it started pouring out blu smoke and the motor rattling. they gave me another one, but just wondering if anyone else has had an issue?

Did you mean, "4047?" If that is it, it's the 2011 version of the 2010 R4010 that I have, with the same S4QL-D. I have put nearly 120 hours on it since I got it in the middle of May without any engine problems. I wouldn't expect you'll have more problems.

Sorry you had the trouble at least they didn't take it away tell you they would call and you wait 6-8 weeks to hear back from them. My LS has been doing fine for the few hours I have on it. You should be fine.

sorry to here about the problems you had with your tractor....sounds like LS got right at it and took care of the problem for you.I have about 90hrs on my 4020H with only one minor hydro. hose problem that the dealer took care of the following day. Iam sure you won't have any more problems. Keep us posted.

It took about 5 days but theu gave me a brand new unit. This one runs good.

Wow - Never get that kind of warranty from the big 3 auto makers.

Did they happen to tell you what was wrong with the unit? Did yours smoke at all RPMs or just higher RPMS?

Mine is blowing smoke at high RPMs but I have 800 hours and way out of warranty.

I asked but the dealer tells me they sent it back to the mfg. Im assuming this means all the way back to korea? The one i have now runs great. But to answer your question it would smoke at idle when cold, then at mid range with a rattling in the motor.
