LS 4047 filters and New Holland filters

I recently purchased a new 4047 and need to change out filters! My dealer is across town but the New Holland dealer is just down the road! Question: If I showed up at New Holland and asked to purchase filters for the comparable New Holland 50 Boomer, would they match my 4047? Thanks for your help and I enjoy this forum! I will attempt to load pics later.

Yes, they should absolutely work, but they might be more expensive. I was surprised how reasonable the price on filters was from my LS dealer...some brands get a little carried away, it seems.

I get my filters at the local NAPA, not to save money but because the dealer is 45 min away. I got my first one at the dealer and on the way home I stopped at Napa and they crossed the number. That is what I have done ever since I even crossed the hydraulic filter. The prices were really close I mean lets face it Napa isn't cheep by any means, but I don't have to run all the way to the dealer he told me that I could order them from him on the phone and he would UPS, mail or what ever but with the cost of shipping that isn't going to work!

My only concern with using aftermarket filters is that I don't think the Magnuson Moss Act applies to machinery. Not that we have seen any warranty issues with LS, but I would hate to see someone not taken care of because some dealer is blaming an aftermarket filter.

Well the filter my dealer sold me was a Douglas filter not an LS to begin with.

Well hey, screw it then. I guess go with whatever fits. If the dealer is doing it then I would say we're covered. What's the Napa part numbers?

Oh you had to ask that didn't you! The numbers are at home all I have to do is to remember to look.

I have seen LS filter groups on EBay not sure of the prices. I go to my dealer his price hasn't hurt and I get to remember who he is.
Edit: if your dealer is across town pick them up next time your near him the filters don't spoil.

But when I looked up my Montana R4944 which is the same tractor with the same engine they did here is that address

Not sure why is the reason I deal with my dealer.
I know this one works or that one works but that just gives me a bad feeling.
