OK, I've seen this on this forum but now that I have the BX2350 and using my new rototiller, how do I lower the rototiller without lowering the mower? Or is it possible?
I was sure I've seen this on the forum before but I can't seem to find it.
Any help would be appreciated.
thanks,
Dan

I can't directly answer your question, But why not take the MMM off if you are going to be tilling?

Pick implements up all the way than set mower adjustment knob to top and mower deck will stay up and tph will drop.

I just put it on last weekend so I am trying to avoid that if possible. It's not a huge deal to take it off, but if there is a way to do it without taking it off, I'd prefer that.
Thanks,
Dan

I didn't think the adjustment worked that far up. I'll give it a try.... thanks for the advise.

what tractor do you have? it is possible on the B7500 and the L3030, there is a active thread on it right now...

Dragon is correct. That model has a "TOP" position on the deck height knob. The deck must be all the way up, otherwise you can't put it in that position.

The only thing I don't like about using the "TOP" setting is that when you lower the rear implement, you take pressure off of the MMM - meaning that it actually does lower about 1/8". Then when the tractor is working the rear implement, the jostling around causes the MMM to bang up and down, which makes an annoying noise. It sounds like something is going to fall off of the tractor, but otherwise, there's no downside to leaving the MMM on.

The cool thing about this model is that you can have the mmm and the tph with a weight box or land scape rake on and still mow as long as you are not mowing to low. I Mow all the time with the weight box, rake or tiller on and they drop but nor enough to be in the way!!:p
