Lower 3pl arms quick hitch options?

Massey 240 lower arms p/n 1869289M91
Hopeless getting those arms lined up...takes forever, back an inch, forward an inch, back again, up down up down.
Every time I think...there must be a better way.

So far, options seem to be:
CBM weld-on hooks
Walterscheid weld-on hooks
PAT'S no weld hooks
Frame type though without being width adjustable I don't understand how they can be universal for most attachments.

Any other suggestions? recommendations? things to avoid?

There are lower 3 point arms that the ends slide in and out my TC45 has them. I really like them and they make hooking up implements easy.

Kubota and John Deere have them and likely others too, the attached pic is of the Kubota ones.

The MF 165 had lower 3 point arms that would adjust some on the implement end.

Weld on lower link hooks for sure. You won't regret it and it a quick hitch that actually works, works well and very easy to use.

The frame type quick hitch, more often than not just required some modification of some sort either at the frame or at the implement side. Then, you still get a frame in the way to connecting a PTO shaft. There is also the unrealistic expectation that you can hook up implements without leaving the seat. That's maybe the case for a box blade or a landplane but just about all the others it won't work that way. There is always a stand to fold, a PTO shaft and/or hydraulic hoses to connect and adjustments to be made.

PATs, while convenient since it doesn't require welding, it removes the ball joint of the 3 pt hitch which is key for the 3 pt hitch linkage to work properly. Under certain conditions, will put the pins on a bind and create issues. For the same reason, using implements with narrower or wider lower pin distance can cause binding issues.

There have been quite a few users of this forum changing to the lower link hooks, even trying all the other systems and they all say it's well worth.

I will always recommend the lower link hooks 200%.

Agristore has them. Or you can purchase them from me.
I recommend the cat 1-2 size for your tractor.
You will want a set of implement balls for each implement, so get a count of your implements and what type of connections they have, stud or clevis types.

These came standard with the tractor. There are markings on them but can't quite tell without removing the paint.

The Walterscheid seem to be very expensive.
The CBM are about double the price of the AMA and up close the build quality (welding) looks about the same. They are both Italian brands.

I don’t think any of the other products besides the extendable arms eliminate the alignment issues when hooking up 3 point implements.

What use to take longer amounts of time and risk straining my back are now a five minute job or less including PTO driven implements.

One thing you have to do is keep things like PTO shafts and connectors lubed.

I get what your are saying however I suspect that my clunky old 46 year old tractor just doesn't do fine adjustments unlike perhaps more modern tractors. Either back and forward or 3pl up and down, it's totally hit or miss/sheer dumb luck if you happen to position everything just right to get that pin and ball lined up. The arm extension really only helps in one direction and with only one adjustment that I can see, the chances that it will line up is almost as small with or without the extension. Plus that Bareco part (16) is discontinued and Google gave me no hits for Massey 240 extendable link arms.
It seems that whilst not a perfect solution, the weld-on hooks are the least worst option and certainly better than the current situation.
