Update: I now know why my tractor locked up suddenly

I sent my tractor to a mechanic, and he just got back to me to tell me there was gas contamination in my engine. He said this is the 5th or 6th tractor he痴 seen in the last month with gas contamination problems. So either there is contamination at the pump or someone tampered with my tractor I only get my diesel from 1 local place so I called to notify them just in case, but acknowledge it is possible someone may have just messed with my tractor.

Luckily this is a relatively inexpensive fix, but is there any way to keep someone from tampering with my tractor痴 diesel besides locking it up? I only have an open pole barn currently so no way to hide it away.

Do you have kids or grandkids? Live in a rough part of town? Who is messing around your tractor? I would first put up security camera on that side of the house facing the barn and a sign that the place is monitored to deter random crackheads. If it's kids related to you this probably won't work as they hopefully are not trying to do wrong. Maybe they just were trying to fill up dad or grand dad's tractor for him?
