Well the pine board floor won out. Probably for several reasons...local lumber yard account, free delivery, help unloading, and price mainly being the deciding factor. And of course since my boss really couldn't make up his mind so we kind of made it for him. :rolleyes:

Now I only get a couple hours a day, a couple of days a week to put toward the project but miraculously I'm about more than 2 thirds done. No small feet considering had to wedge straight almost every single board to fit before I could nail it down


Lumber yard guy offered me a great deal on some in stock poly he hasn't been able to move to finish it all after we're finally done.

We polyed up all the store counter and benches I whipped up out using construction grade dimensional lumber for tops and framing then covered with a T&G pine...looks like glass with that shine hey! :D

Four coats I think the girl did while I was out marketing for the weekend.

Everybody's happy I guess ;)

Remember we sell fun (well not really but we like to tell people that)
