Tractor
LS J2020
Hey guys I picked my little blue tractor on Tuesday. I bought the J2020. Its a little guy but I think it will do everything I need it to do. I bought a pull behind finish mower, bush hog, 4 foot rototiller, 4 foot box blade with it. I cleaned up my driveway this morning. We got about 6 inches of snow last night and the little guy did a great job!
I looked at everything before I bought the LS and I kept going back to it. The LS just just had the most bang for the buck. I bought mine with the implements for about the same as the similar Kubota by itself. I hope I get a lot of years of service from it. We have about 9 acres of a hobby farm to keep up. It should serve my needs well.

I'll post some pics soon! Its so nice having a tool like this when you need it. That driveway used to take me 4-5 hours to shovel. I did it with the tractor in about 45 min. We haven't moved out to the farm yet because the house is under construction so I rode around the neighborhood and cleared some of my neighbors driveways for them. Its was a lot of fun getting some seat time and putting the Lil Blue Guy to work. Thanks for the replies.

Hey Murph! Thanks again for answering my question last night.
Is Murphy a first or last name?

They're a pretty cool size machine really...I'm sure I could put one to work in no time at all, and my wife would probably be okay driving it (the bigger machines sort of intimidate her at this point).

We need pics!

The size is part of the reason I bought it. I think my wife and son won't be intimidated by it plus I just didn't really need anything bigger. I wanted something bigger but it really wasn't necessary. I need to now about 2 acres and bush about 3 acres. I have a small barn and will need it to clean some stalls. My dealer actually talked me out of the J2030. He said the the engine is exactly the same and that the 4 more horsepower comes from the injector pump. He told me to use it and when the warranty runs out if I want to we can change the pump and get the 4 extra horses. I tested them both and could not really see the difference. I may would see it when bush hogging high grass though. We had an old 8N when I was a kid and it did everything we needed. The Lil Blue Guy is about the same horsepower but its diesel ,4x4 and has a loader. I still think it will be a great choice. It really feels planted to the ground too. The loaded tires help.
Post pics soon

Nice tractor. I'd like to have one that size also, very handy for many tasks.

Congrats on the tractor!
Did you buy it from the Granite dealer? One of my buddies at work is thinking about an LS an an upgrade from the old 8N.

Question About your new LS. Does your tractor have a squealing noise coming from under the seat? As if there is a restriction. I only ask because I have the Boomer version of your tractor and I am trying to see if anyone else has this issue

I did buy it from the granite machinery. Its a real workhorse for the size! I've done a lot of work with it in a little amount of time! Its funny once you have a little tractor you wonder how you ever made it without one.
