I mean my Grandchildren Love That Old Boat. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif What do you do with an old scow when you retire it off the Big Lake and it isn't worth a thin dime? You make a Playhouse (Playboat) for the Grandchildren. Parked it in the woods behind my camp(actually chained it to a tree and drove off with the trailer). They water ski, make trips across the ocean and whatever their young minds can imagine. No TV or Game Boys allowed at Grandpa's Camp unless it raining. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Looks like a real beauty out of the late 50's early 60's.. I had a 1962 Glastron I used to call the Batboat because of the fins.

Great idea! But please do be mindful that wasps are gonna see that as a potential playground as well. Spray it down in the springtime when the queens are looking for nesting spots and keep an eye on it. I'd hate to hear that one of your little ones disturbed a nest during playtime...I had this experience when I was about 5 years old when I decided to hide in a boat that had been sitting on the beach...got stung 7 times and have been at war with the little beasties ever since.

Like Holzster said "Great Idea".

We just happen to have a 66 aquacraft sitting around. Way to expensive to fix. Don't have grandkids yet ..but might keep the ole boat around anyway. Thought of using it for themed landscaping but couldn't come up with a good way to do it. I like your idea alot better!!
