Loud Clicking noise from rear axles

I have a 2001 Polaris 400 4x4 I have replaced the rear boots on the rear axle twice already. For a long time now it has been making a loud clicking noise from the rear axles is worse when turning I didn't think alot of it my buddy has a 2002 400 4x4 and his started doing the same thing very loud he had a boot tore so we pulled it apart check joints and replaced all 4 boots noise is still there maybe worse ? Anyone run into this with Polaris 4 wheelers? Thanks

When you replaced the boots did you fill them with grease?

Sounds like your CVs are shot. Get new ones. Might want to look for some CV protectors if you are tearing boots when riding.
