Hi All
any one have any experience with a lotos ltp5000d plasma cutter or any Dealings with Lotos. I'm going to use it for general hobby work and will probably only cut to about 1/4" although I have a lot of 3/4" round stock left over from a large water tank, but this would only need to be severed not cut real cleanly. the machine is an IGBT unit which seems to be better than Mossfets.
It has gotten pretty confusing looking at different units on the web trying to figure out warranties and the same companies having three different prices for the same machine on ebay it makes me wonder. Warranties are the hardest I have found that lotos is available with either a 1 year or 3 year warranty depending on seller. One company says their plasmas have a 5 year warranty but when you read the description of the unit I was interested in it is only 1 but you could get an extended one for extra, but by that time it would cost as much as the one that came with a longer one to begin with.
