Lost my lift

I have a BX2230 with MMM. My wife wants to cut the grass on our 5 acres. Thought I'd make it easier for her by removing the front loader (LA 211). My first time to do that. Easy to take off the FL, but now I have no hydraulic pressure for the MMM or 3 pt hitch. Did I do something wrong or does removal of the FL disable the mid and rear hydraulics?

Did you connect the long hydraulic hose on the tractor right side back to the port on the tractor. The fluid needs to return to the system.

Mr. caj4isu is on the right track. When you disconnect your loader, you're left with a 2 foot long "pigtail" with a female quick connect at the end, and 2 vacant quick connects, one male, one female.

You need to connect your female "pigtail" with the male (middle) vacant quick connect. Since you've run your tractor without it connected, you may have resistance to the connection because of residual hydraulic pressure. Take a screwdriver and carefully depress the nipples in the quick connects WITHOUT the tractor running to relieve this residual pressure. Then make your connection.

Male. Female. Nipples. Next time, we'll talk about shafts and receiving units. My wife hates 'gender correctness' when I'm talking about fittings. Just uncomfortable with it for some reason.

Thanks guys! Works fine now. Slight diff on my rig, pigtail is male and connects to front female on tractor. To unhitch the loader, I followed instruction on Messick's farm equip website. They didn't mention the reconnection of the pigtail. Maybe sometime I'll find the Kubota FL operator's manual.
