I was gonna suggest that you post in the Regional Section forum. But when I researched to see which region you would want to post in I realized none of them cover Colorado..... Wait,,,, that can't be right..... Nope, none of them cover Colorado, what's up with that???
I've visited with some users on here from Colorado but not necessarily your area. Hopefully they'll chime in and introduce themselves.

Edit: I'm vacationing (Jeeping) in your beautiful State now and was in Gunnison Wednesday night. Started in Alamosa. Went over Stony Pass from Rio Grande Reservoir to Silverton Monday. Got to see the fire damage from the West Fork fires. Very Humbling. Then on tuesay did Black Bear Pass into Telluride, didn't spend any time there,,,, too many Yuppies. Then Imogene Pass to Ouray. Spent the night in Ouray. Then did Corkscrew Gulch, Hurricane Pass, California Pass, Cinnamon Pass to Lake City and on to Gunnison for the night. In Colorado Springs last night, Denver tonight then back to God's Country (Missouri) on Sunday. Gotta Love Colorado!!!

Welcome from NW Florida. My sister is back here now, but she spent 30+ years at the Springs. Her daughter and grandkids are in Denver. She will be going back out that way one day. I will miss her, but I understand. Them Rocky's do get in your blood.
