JD is starting to move major production to Mexico. A lot of workers are already getting pink slips. Apparently, the JD version of the skid steer is the first to go.

Spreading rumors.

It is not the hysteria that you are trying to imply.
Yes, JD has been shifting production around the world for 50 years. It is how they stay in business and on top so they can continue to produce ag equipment including tractors. They didn't get to be the best by making wrong decisions.
Naysayers are abound.
When a production line comes to the end of their era, shifts of personnel are in order. If they are good workers, likely will move to new areas of new production lines.
If talking about protecting union workers, then that is a whole different thing.
And I won't pretend to know exactly what prompted the gossip in someone's column, but we all are familiar with the stories written to make a big splash and spread fear.

I'm not scared. I could care less one way or the other. I just thought someone else here might care. I hope JD moves everything out of the country so the chance of company busting tariffs cuts into their self-indulging, snot dripping bean counter's pockets so they can find new homes too. Good riddance as far as I care. My only JD is painted yellow. 🤣

Deere’s big rotary mowers are made in China and Mexico. Best ones you can buy IMO. My CX15 is a world class money maker.

My guess is JD is tired of dealing with unions. Notice that most foreign companies who have come and built large manufacturing facilities in the U.S in the last 30-40 years have built them in the south, as did Boeing some years back.

The only large manufacturer that I can think of that built their plant in a union state is Sig Sauer, but notice how they've also gotten the last 4-5 major government firearms, and ammunition contracts. I'm thinking politics are involved.
