Kubota BX 2660 & BX-23
for a 2660. I will likely keep it mounted for counterweight. I've checked out the Everythingattachments video. Kubota's site has LandPride and they have a normal and then a heavier duty unit in 54". Do you have a preference for brand? Is there a reason to get the 48" over a 54" for a BX? I'll mostly be using this for driveway grading, but will discover other uses I am sure. What do you like, and why? What to watch out for? What to avoid? As always, thanks!

Here is a picture of the one I've had for over six years and used it on BX's, B's and an L.
i"ve discovered to my satisfaction that weight is often times a determining factor in the durability of a tractor and implements. When statistics show two similiar tractors or two similiar implements and one weighs several hundred pounds more than the other there is a difference.
My BX2660 drug this one all over my property without a stutter and it worked to my satisfaction.

Size is important, I have found to get one that clears the tires by a few inches on aside will help keep the tractor from riding up an throughing off your pull.On the 2nd pass.

It is probably going to be an individual thing. I use a cheap 48" on mine, but have used a 60" without any problem in pulling. The thing I didn't like about the 60" was it stuck out too far and kept getting hung up in tight places. I didn't even know they made a 54" or I might of looked at one.

I use a 7' on my L5030 because I don't get in tight places and really like the width for roadwork.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Check the weight limit of your three-point hitch in the manual, and go as heavy as you can, without busting 110% of that number. That's a rule I invented after I bought a new lift rod.

I went with the 48 inch as it is wide enough to cover my tracks on my BX2660, but not too wide to pull in extra snow. I use my blower on the front and the BB on the 3 point with the teeth removed for snow cleanup. It works great as you don't have snow spilling off the sides.

FYI, while my address on this site is MA, I need the BB at my property in CA, where I will be moving next summer and where the tractor has lived since I bought it. I had a nice offer to buy a local (MA) BB, but, shipping eats you up:eek:
