I picked up a nice used JD 6x4 and I'd like to put a roll cage and windshield on it similar to what comes on the newer UTV's. I have seen the one's I can purchase aftermarket but am looking for a more cost effective solution that I can build myself so I wanted to see if anyone has done this to their 6x4 and what they did/used. Obviously the windshield will be plex and I considered making the roll cage out of schedule 40 pvc (I realize this will not support the weight of a rollover, it would simply serve as something to hold the windshield and top).
