Rake Looking to buy a V rake, suggestions?

I'm currently in the market for a wheel rake, and am considering an H&S 10 wheel. Anyone out there have advice? Also considering Vermeer and John Deere. We only make about 100 acres of hay/year, so . . . price is also an issue.

I don't know that 100 acres a year would hurt a roughed up used one if fixed right.

1400-1700 seems to be the going rate for decent v rakes around here. There's a pretty nice RCO 8-wheel on craigslist right now (down here that is) for 1600 that looks to be in really good condition. Like art said, a used rake in less-than-favorable conditon would most likely hold up to 100 acres a year if it's cared for.
