Looking for the equipment

I have about an acre between my ma inlaw, and my house to plant.I have about 300 hundred acres my mom owns to hunt. Only 35 acres of this is plantable.I looking for like a package deal . Tractor ,trailer,bushhog, harrow,and maybe a spreader would be nice. My question is,how much tractor would I need?I don't plan on farming all the thirty five acres,and I am on a budget .

Start with the mowing--what are you mowing (weeds, saplings, brush, etc) and how many acres. That will size your tractor.

unless you have 30g's to buy modern diesel equipment you are looking at older farm tractors.

I have built and maintained my 10 ac Farm for 15 years with a 1963 mf35 delux 2wd with davis hydralic loader, TSC brand box blade, and king kutter rotary mower. I made hay for many of those years with my sickle bar, rake JD 24T baler. With that said i am looking for newer equipment to take me down the road for the next 20 yrs.

My situation is very similar....maintain driveway, and other areas around my house, some bush hog work and planting food plots. I figured a used package deal would be best, and was able to find one. Had to drive to Texas to get it, but the package fit my needs. My signature of this post gives the details. Everything came in the original package except the Toothbar and the Chisel Plow. The 25 - 30 hp should fit you needs.
