got about a foot of snow today snow pusher rocks I did add 3 jd 40 pound suicase weights on the front and added a heavyhitch on the back with 8 more weights still need more traction but I don't want chains cause my driveway are blacktop

That's awesome that your 2720 can handle a 6' pusher in a foot of snow. We've got 16" so far today and it's still falling. I thought alot about a snow pusher today as I was repeatedly backing up to get the spillage off the edges of the front blade. I definitely want one.

One of the things I learned after getting my CT335 is that r4 tires love weight. The more the merrier on the back end. Where did you hang the weights on the front?

Hey where do you find those heavy hitches, that looks handy and compact for rear weight.

Milkman, google advantageattachments.com. They are here in Michigan and build a 6' pusher. I run a 8' and they are very well built. CJ

Thanks CJ. I like this: "All of our products are made with pride in Michigan with American made materials." I'll be checking into them further. How long have you had your pusher?

I have a kubota B2710 and I built my own snow pusher. I love it for my application. The only problem I see with snow pushers on tractors is that the rear axle sets the angle of the tractor to the ground. The rear axle is much farther from the pusher on a tractor than the front axle is on a skid steer. If you have uneven ground one side of the pusher will lift off the ground. I solved this problem by making a pivot in the center of of the pusher to allow it to track the profile of the ground. Here is a link to my build thread. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/270685-quick-attach-snow-pusher-build.html

Nice build. Did you build the bucket and forks too?
