Hello,

I am looking for an older miller mig 212 non autoset to work with my 3035 spoolmate. I called Majical Miller and they said that the gun does not work with the new auto set equipment. That is real comforting to know. If I can not find a machine to work with the gun then I will have to sell it. I have tried ebay and craigslist already with no luck.

Thanks in advance!

My MM 210 came with a FREE 3035 spool gun when I purchased it new ($1100.00 free shipping!) in about 2001. So If you look farther back to the 210's you might find one. I see them once in a while on CL.
I love my MM 210 , it will easily weld 1/2" steel.

What is the duty cycle on the MM 210?

I back up the vote for the 210, put proBley a thosand lbs of wire through it over 10 years and have done no maintainence or repairs, except 1 liner.great machine.dity cycle for the 210 is the same as the 212 except no auto.

Thanks guys. I will keep my eye on CL and Ebay for a 210. Sounds like it would be the perfect match for my spoolmate 3035. I picked it up from a buddy at work for a good deal but had no idea it was not compatible with the new equipment which is a good thing I found this out before I invested in a new machine.

Your welding supplier should have told you it was compatible with a 210 , people are always out to make a sell rather than help, I saw a 210 on e bay awhile back for 800 and it looked new.

I bought it from a coworker and he told me it was old and he used it with his 212. I did not realize that the autoset was not compatible with it at the time. It is really Miller that sucks for not making the new machines compatible with the gun. I would like to know how the autoset feature would justifiy not making the gun compatible or is it just a way of keeping you at the counter buying more components.

I think all the 212 have autoset.i stand corrected, they did make the 212 without autoset.
