I need a turn signal/flasher for my 1240. It got taken off with a tree limb and all that's left is the bulb socket. I checked with the local dealer and 42.00 seemed like an awful lot for a signal light. Anybody have a new/used light or a better place to get a replacement?

Companies like Signal Stat, make lots of this kind of stuff. If your lucky you can find a replacement that matches. Check the internet. And check the phone book see if there is a Truck Parts store, in your area. Both could beat $42 for that.
And how about Northern Tool, and Harbour Freight, If you want cheap?
Get used to the prices if you buy OEM, most of the time they are shocking. !
FyI: You want a signal light. If you say "flasher" that is actually the device that makes the lights flash.
