Looking for good buckets. Backhoe buckets l45

I have an l45 with the standard equipped 18" digging bucket but our work often requires us to dig trenches, etc so I've been searching for a 12" bucket for some time now. Can't seem to find any aftermarket ones that say they'll work with an l45. Tabs for the pins are 4 1/4" apart I believe. Shouldnt be too tricky to find, does anyone know of any good sources for buckets? Wouldnt mind some larger ones either. Dealer wanted over $700.00 for a Kubota 12" bucket!!!

Try searching USA attachments, they should be able to make a bucket for the L45. If you switch buckets often you may want to look into getting the quick coupler for the hoe, it would require all new buckets but would make switching them much easier. I think you are going to find that $700 is pretty much an average price for backhoe buckets for that machine though.

Actually if you decide to install the backhoe QA on your L45, you can by QA "ear" plate pairs from Kubota for about $150. These have the QA shape and you then cut off your pin on bucket ears, cut the QA ears to match the shape of your bucket and then weld them on your existing bucket. This saves you having to buy replacement QA hoe buckets.
