Looking for front AG tire for 1601d size 5.00 - 14

hi,
One of my front tires blew out. Don't know why or how, but too big of a hole to either patch or do innertube (side wall probably not a good idea to patch anyway).

Anyway, I need a tire. Hoye Parts says they are on national backorder. Used or new doesn't matter. In a way I'd prefer used since the other 3 on it are quite used as well

Also, I've been thinking about getting an additional set of rims and turf like tires - this might be a good time to do that as well.

So, if you have any recommendations or want to sell me some stuff that would be great! Thanks!!!!

I just purchased two new rear tires for my yannie. The others were too rotten to hold air. I got mine at the local discount tire outlet. Korean made, but good looking tires. And 8 ply at that. One possibilty.

I tried the local "orange" tractor dealer/shop in my area. According to them, they cannot get anything like it, I had to go directly to a Yanmar dealer.

When I had my 1700 I ordered 6 ply trailer tires with street tread for the front. You'd be better off going to a discount tire store than a tractor dealer. They can get a lot of different sizes.

I don't care much about having to replace both tires as long as I can put the tractor back on work schedule in about a week... 'cause where I am, it could start freezing in 4 to 5 weeks.. (um like frost)

I sure wish the weather was like that here. I mowed the place yesterday and the temp was 101 with lots of humidity. Tractor ran same tempature as always by driver ran a little on the hot side. I replaced the two front tires on mine, bought them at a local tire store. I don't remember the price but I remember thinking they were a little high. big dan

I went thru that a couple of years ago. No one had any idea where to find them until I contacted Firestone, who had a few in a warehouse somewhere east of here. I ordered mine, then put out the word where they were. They apparently disappeared within a couple of days. I would think that with the apparent demand for that particular tire they would be more available.

The WILL be available, probably early September. Well.....at least the that's what the manufacturer claims. Container was supposed to ship by 7/31, haven't checked to see if it did.
