I am looking for the options of installing a snowblower on the B2650. I have the fel with quick attach and front hydraulics and the BH77.
The cheaper of the options will be a 3 point but I have been used to running a front mount on small John Deer Garden Tractor. Will have to remove the back hoe and how is it to be running in reverse while blowing? Also how big of a 3 point will I be able to put on this setup?
The other option is to go with a front mount but looks like the hydraulic output of the B2650 is only 5gpm. The front mounts that I have seen online need between 11-24gpm? Is there any options around this?

You can get the Kubota front mount that uses the mid-2500 rpm PTO. Although it is going to get expensive.

Forget about using hydraulics for a snowblower on a SCUT. There just isn't enough flow. Some skid steers need to be "high flow" in order to use some implements like a blower.

I've got a rear mount on mine with my loader. I have no complaints. I like the fact I can have the best of both worlds -- snow blower and a loader. Lots of times I will back blade then zip around and blow the snow that I freshly back bladed. Works great for around stair cases and coves where you can't blow snow because it will be up against a building going no where.

I've got a 50" Braber from Northern Tool a couple of years ago. Only maintenance I do is lube and oil on it.

Do you know what model will fit the B2650? I am guessing it will come with a PTO extension that would extend the mid pto?
I haven't seen any kubota specific blowers come up when googling? How much did you pay for the 50" of you don't mind me asking.
Thanks

You would want the B2781A-51 --- Kubota 51" Front Mount Snow blower. If you buy it from a dealer, it should come with it as a package deal.

My rear mount:

The price hasn't changed from when I bought mine ~5 years ago: https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200435195_200435195

Products - Braber Equipment

This unit is built by Agriease (Imported from china) and distributed by Braber Equipment out of Canada. I needed an extra part that I lost by accident, and I called Braber in Canada, I got sent the part for free. Very good customer service!

So looks like I would have to remove the fel to attach that kubota front mount?
I am hoping to go a little larger just need to see what the b2650 can handle?
Will probably end up going the 3 point and then can leave the fel on.
Thanks

Yes, you would have to remove the FEL to attach the front mount.

They have the B2781A-63 --- kubota 63" Front Mount Snow blower. If you want bigger.

Here is a clip of a B2620 running a 63" front mount: Kubota B262 With 63" B2782b Snowblower - YouTube
If you watch the tach on the tractor when it hits the snow bank, doesn't even affect it.

I run a 62" Woodmaxx flail mower and it turns it just fine with a BX2200. So your B2650 will run a 63" blower no problem.

Now that I am looking at a bigger tractor in the near future, I'm kind of kicking myself for not getting the Braber 60" for $100 more. The BX2200 would've handled the 60" for sure. However, it's not big deal 10" isn't like it's going to make me clear the snow any much quicker... I take my time and have fun!

Looks nice but can't take the fel off as I use the bucket to bring firewood to the house the more I think about. If could adapt to the quick attach no problem but then looking at the issues no pto..... Always something.
Looking at the 3pt blowers the augers are all small compared to the size of the blower on my old JD 47" the augers took up the whole space. Any issues with wet snow getting too packed in the housing with out having the augers in the whole space?
Not sure if I can upsize to a 30hp blower as the B2650 is 24.9? That could get me into a 64-72" blower?

That was the other issue and reason I really didn't want the front mount. I use my bucket for all kinds of stuff during the winter. As a hint, you can also use it to get yourself unstuck in deep snow or mud.

I am leery at recommending a 72" blower. It might be too big. You've only got 19.5 PTO HP. 60-63" is the max I would go. If it is too wide, you might end up skidding sideways when shearing deep/tall snow because the blower is much wider than the tractor, and your tractor is relatively light. Not to say the 72" wouldn't work, I would just hate to see you buy it and be disappointed. In fact, I know your machine will lift it and turn it.

The other issue is, if you buy a large blower on a low HP machine, it can be counter productive. You've got to go much slower to keep your machine from bogging down. Especially if it is wet snow. That is why I am kind of glad I went with a 50" even though I plan on upgrading; kind of like an undecided feeling, I do wish I had the 60", but I think the performance would be interesting. I bet my 50" blower on say a B3350 tractor would be the cat's meow in terms of superior efficiency; probably blast through 3' snow drifts like it wasn't even there because it's so small. It's called concentrating the power.

With that being said, people do run 72" rear mount mowers on the B2620. kubota B262 king Kutter 72" rear finish mower - YouTube

Then again, a finishing mower is a different animal all to itself. But you can at least gauge the width of a 72" implement on your size machine in that video.

Folks told me a 62" flail mower wouldn't work on a BX2200 or I wouldn't be happy. It depends on what you are doing with it. I mow my lawn (normal grass height you would use to mow with a push hand mower) with my flail mower. Not chop down 4'+ grasses with thickets. The flail mower works perfectly fine for this application with a BX2200 and I am extremely pleased with it's performance. If I had to chop down 4'+ grasses with thickets, I would use a small 4' bushhog to concentrate the power of my tractor.

Also, my Braber hasn't had any clogging issues with wet snow. The fan is huge and it blows wet snow with relative ease.

This is my new setup. Quick hitch, 72" hydraulic angle blade (not shown) and 63" blower (B2782B) with drift cutters, hydraulic chute rotation and hydraulic chute deflection. Works great!

Frank, that's a nice setup. I'm still hedging on getting a cab on my next machine. Something about not getting viciously attacked by mosquitoes and black flies keeps leaning me towards getting a cabbed tractor.
