I bought an MF200 dozer with 6 way power blade and I have some questions:
Numbers I've found;
- right side under foot plate on the side - metal tag - MF200 70210289
-left side of eng. behind thee injector pump raised # on block -37111500/2
right below that was 5 space 5 space 2
I read 00286 on the hour meter in the spdo.
The exhaust is missing so the manifold has collected water - pulling the dip stick shows very black oil all the way up to the dipstick cap ,so it's full of water.
Stated that it lived it's life in a barn till last 6 yr - at which time a fiberglass boat was flipped up on top upside down - but I figure it didn't stay that way all the time well out doors.

The photo's below is how it was found.
It's now at home and 70 % has been PSI washed.

It came with two brand new chains and two brand new sprockets all the shoes - which the grousers are still square shaped and the idlers are still sharpe clean lines - but the son (60 yr.old) says his dad didn't know how to adjust the tracks and they kept falling off. ??? this was why he bought new chains and sprockets! The adjuster is so out in the open I don't get it.
He had taken the four bolts out of the track frame and slide the top idler roller forward and used only two bolt to hold it there so the sloppy track wouldn't catch or bind as it came of the front idler?
The blades cutting edge shows like it also has no hours , -no dents -dings -or ware on the blade.
An engine might be the most exspencive part to give this little dozer a new life of rock and ro... woops thatshould be dirt!

Any thoughts on these dozers and how reliable are the perkins diesels ?
Could a kubota of the same h.p. be stuffed in there - it looks like there's room to spare ?
Thx for your time!

I've sourced a complete rebld kit to under a $1000.00 CND a mile away.
How many hours does it take to pull the engine out of the dozer and rebuild it and put it back?
I ask so that I could work out what the build would cost.
Or does any one out Vancouver CND way, know where I could buy a long block or complete engine running?

Ha, Believe it or not this was the last machine to roll off the assembly line in 1972... With that block number you have a Perkins AD3.152 puttting out about 45.5 hp. Great engine also found in a MF135 tractor. Great piece of early MF history you have there, would love to see it restored.
