A 27-30 HP tractor will do all you need done on 14 acres and be gentle on fuel consumption. Cost of matching equipment will be less also than for higher HP tractors.

Depending on width. Tillers and bush hogs will be width based on the tractor. Things like spreaders or subsoilers should be fairly universal as long as the 3pt is the same category.

Since you are new to tractors - Most likely you will be purchasing a tractor with a Category 1 3 point hitch system on the back of the tractor. Just be sure the implements you purchase in the future are CAT 1 implements, not CAT 2, etc. CAT 2 are much heavier and require more horsepower and the pins are much larger that fit into the 3 point openings (just to keep the wording simple). CAT 0 tractors are also available and most likely too small for your gardening and mulching and other activities you will do in the future on your land. Good luck.
