Sure, any compact - including the Yanmars - will work a FEL or auger just fine. I'm going to assume that you are looking for a workable 4wd tractor without spending a whole lot of money. Only trouble is....I don't know of any of the grey market importers with shops in Colorado....but there must be some. There is supposedly one in Cheyenne, and there were several that popped up and disappeared in the area between Denver and C. Springs a few years back. I'd probably start by giving Potesto Bros or the JD shop in Castle Rock a call. Or contact one of the dealers who post on this forum. There are half a dozen who are known to hundreds of us as reliable sorts. Frankly they are probably better than trusting your own intuition if you are a first time buyer.
Denver has several excellent shops that still service the older US model Yanmars. But pricewise those US machines are closer to newer JDs or Kubotas than they are to the grey market machines.
