I have sold my JD4520, and now I am looking for a smaller tractor. maybe 30 or 35 horse....Im thinking about checking the yanmar out....since they manufactur alot of the jd's anyway....so far I have read nothing but good about them...

I have a jd 4520 I have just sold...looking for something smaller since I sold my farm. Thinking about checking yanmar out further, since they do alot of the smaller utility tractors for jd anyway. So far, have not seen anything bad....about yanmar. Will check this forum for any information....please respond to this post if you have experience with it

They are nice reliable tractors. You get an awful lot of machine for the money. Just like old JDs, old Yanmars seem to last forever.

Was this 4520 a compact tractor or an older field tractor?
What information are you looking for?
The Yanmar's are worth a look if you have a dealer close by - I do not. And do be aware that Yanmar only supplies the engine for most smaller JD's, the rest is built by JD. There are only a handful of models left that are 100% Yanmar. At all costs, Yanmar makes and excellent engine and tractor and are definitely worth a look.
