Hate to say it but;you would be better off trading tractors.None of the aftermarket cabs are anywhere near what the factory cabs are.Won't have air, noisy adding heat is a problem. The better ones are also very expensive.
By the way I have a L4240 HSTC,great machine.

Ny birdman just curious have you seen a a Lauren cab in person?
I would agree that there are some aftermarket manufactures are not even close to factory so far what ive seen and read the Lauren cabs are as close as you can get rops certified, available with air ,defrosters on all windows 36,000 btu
Heater sound insulated they are not a unit that just sits on top of a rops machine they have a interior and all holes are sealed from dust and air from what I can gather they look to be quite impressive if i didn't know what a Kubota factory cab looked like I'd be hard pressed to tell that it didn't come on the machine however they are a bit pricey and this is why im looking to see if anyone may have one or seen one first hand just to see if they are infact as nice as they appear to be,the factory cab was an 8000.00 option when I bought my tractor looking back had I to do it over again I wouldn't think twice.
Trading my machine is not an option for me I want nothing to do with tier 4 emissions in the l 60 series.
And buying a used machine is a bit of a gamble not knocking how it was run or maintained would weigh on me.
I did look at a 4240 hstc just last week used 160 hrs my machine has 200 hrs
Condition wise they were not even close and the price was a bit high trade value on my machine was way to low for me to even consider it.
Thank you for your response

Do a search on TBN on Laurin Cabs.I read some old post and you are looking at $11,00+ for everything.
And I still don't believe it would be as nice as a factory set-up.Our experience was with a Curtis on a JD and it wasn't good.
Your only salvation is that the Canadian dollar is way down;may be able to save a buck because of that.
I don't blame you for wanting to keep your tractor, they are nice. That HSTC with 160 hours is low,was it really abused?
Just looked at the Laurin web-site and didn't see a listing for the L4240?

Yes I looked into the Curtis and also cab depot but they are in excess of 5000.00 for that price I might as well pay a little more for a MUCH nicer product.
As far as the used machine I don't know if it was abused but just wasn't in the condition that I would expect for such few hrs inside of the cab grease stains everywhere a lot of holes drilled in the consoles where some things had been removed and it was not done neatly, basically if it were mine from new it would look showroom new,and the trade in offer on mine was just far to low
I will see if I can find you a picture of the laurin cab on the l40 series and figure out how to get it on here lol

I can't figure out how to do a picture but its on page 6 of there site l30 series and l40 series use the same model you will see it listed under l3130 they did make a mistake on the photos there's a rear 3/4 picture under l3130 but the front 3/4 picture is mistakenly shown under the l3400 model
