I can't comment much on how the heavy duty blasé works for snow removal just yet, as this will be my first year using it.

However, I've done a lot of snow removal with my light duty Land Pride 1572 landscape rake with a flip down grader blade, and the main reason I'm getting rid of that and replaced it with a heavy duty Land Pride blade is because with the light blade and heavy snow, it would very often ride up over the packed down spots. Once it started riding up over the snow it was hard to get it back down on the ground. So I would certainly stay away from anything light duty.

Geez! You guys can sure spend money! I was thinking the EA blade was pricy...and then you introduce me to a blade that is twice that. Granted, it is also 200# heavier and can have hydraulics but wow...

Twice the price but ten times the blade. Spend it now or later you choice. :)
