I am looking for a 6 gpm joystick loader valve to match up with my tractors pump. Smallest I can find is the Brand hydraulics 10 gpm unit on Surplus Center. I know the Deere 1026 has 6.3m flow, but that valve is over $600 from the dealer!!!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

You can use a larger GPM valve without problems you may have different fittings but if it is a new install that can be changed.

This valve should work for you. You really don't need to exactly match.

The larger flow valve will only mean that you will be applying the full 6 GPM when the lever is about 3/4 way in the lever range. Pushing the lever any more will not add any more force or flow.

Yeah, that is what I figured, but would really like to have closer to te 6 gpm, so I could have a little more precision with the bucket.

Any word on a damaged 1023/6 out there anywhere being parted?

Prince has a Wolverine series, at least they used to, that are 8 gpm. I used one for my grapple. My tractor is 6.8 gpm. I got it at Surplus Center but they always have different stock.

At one time (2010) Surplus Center sold a 7gpm joystick valve. Cross Model 170737. Maybe a google search would find one for sale?

OK, so great lead on the wolverine valves. They make a MB-8 series. Perfect with two exceptions:1) I can get over - the cost with joystick is more expensive than the Brand 10 gpm unit. 2) there is not a re-gen option /feature. Concerned ewith operation of the Deere 45 loader without re-gen. Will it be too slow? Just wondering which is the less of two evils - better flow match or re-gen?

Regen only works on the dump or curl down. Decreases the time to dump by about half.

Not using regen gives more power in the dump mode.

Do you need float on your loader?

Do you need joystick operation or just a two lever valve?

They have a joystick kit for this valve, but it is about $199

I still think the joystick valve would serve you better.

This valve has joystick, regen, and float .
