If this post is not proper for this website or forum, please just let me know. Just signed up wanting to get a down to earth answer without it being influenced by a sponsor.

In need of either a 22" High Wheel or larger deck push mower w/mulching capability? Do not want self propell as it will be used for finesse and trim mowing. If you have any suggestions as to brand or any kind of info, please post it or email.
Thanks...........Tommy T

I'd look at the mowers with front casters for what you seam to be looking at. beyond that, I can't make a sugestion.

I'm with Groo on this one; front casters would be a must. I don't recall the last time I used a push mower.

I think a good place to start would be on manufacturer websites. You could then maybe narrow it down to a few makes/models. Sometimes if you're asking about a particualr machine(s) you can get better responses from those who might have owned/used them.

Without going commercial walkbehind (which would all be power driven and probably not less than 34"), Ariens, Cub, Honda, JD, and Toro all come to mind. (I think a lot of pros use Toro for a small machine.) There's always the big box store offerings from Sears, Lowes, Home Depot,...Not sure if any have a large wheel model or option 'tho. Good luck.
