Looking at Mohawk Brave 6\' brush hog. Need advice

I'm looking to buy a 6' brush hog for pasture mowing & weeds. Got a price on a dome deck Mohawk Brave 6' (manufacturered by AG-MEIR) of $900 from my dealer. Also looking at other brands. Any advice on brands/design??
Looked at the Bush Hog Squealer about a year ago. Looked good, little more expensive though. I just don't know what to look for in a mower. I want a 6' because of my tractor size (wheel width). What are the pros/cons of different brands. I don't mind spending a little more to get something better, but what is the definition of BETTER in a brush hog?? I just bought a 4' mohawk to do similar work on a couple of acres, and it seems to be a good sturdy cutter. I believe my 4' weighs 457 lbs. The brochure I got says it will cut 1.5" saplings, tho I cut weeds mostly about 2-3' tall and worked like a charm.
By the way, mine is on the back of my BX2230 and have to keep the loader on until I get some weights on the front of the tractor.
