Looking at kioti reliability

/ Looking at kioti reliability #11
Kioti's seem like good tractors, but th eonly reliability info I'm seeing here is for machines with under 200 hours. Barely broken in. Any body have any info on how they do with 2000- 3000 hours? Not expecting any difference, just curious. At that point you may start to see drive line issues if there are any weakneses.

My last tractor I put 600 hours on over an 8 year period. It would take me nearly 27 years to reach 2000 hours. Your mileage may vary. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

cag,

Would you mind sharing with us whereabouts in Canada are you. How big a body of water do you have to cross? How much property on this island? How big of a barge to float this tractor across?

Don, We live in the Ottawa area. As for the barge, it has not been built, I have an idea of dimension but I want to wait until I buy the tractor. I'm not sure of the brand to purchase yet. Lot of choices out there and I have been getting a lot of help of this site and I want to make sure I get the perfect tractor. I have a body of water around 500 feet to cross onto the island. The property is big enough to handle a tractor.

PS. I finally received a list of Kioti dealers for my area.

Had a LB1914 that we sold an engine for about 5 months ago. Guy said the hour meter showed about 5000 and the hour meter wasn't working at the time. Tractors still ran but was little low on power. Customer just wanted to replace the engine. I think all it really needed was maybe a head gasket and a ring and valve job though. I've had several other machines i have seen that have upwards of 2000 hours on them and no problems.

The new Kioti tractors are the same way, just as realiable. In the amount of tractors we have sold we have had very little warranty work. All of it was Minor items like seat, tach cable, and other minor items, that are just normal for man-made items. All in all Kioti is a very tough and realiable machine.
