Hello, I'm new to this forum and I've been browsing through the threads in this forum for a while now and have been picking up some good information. Lot's of knowledge in this site. I have been thinking of getting a new tractor to take care of 4 acres of property; mainly moving dirt, clearing brush, spreading gravel, maintaining about 100 yard driveway. There is a lot of mesquite on the property and I would like to get something that can cut through the trunk. I do not need a mid mounted mower but would like to get a front end loader and a box blade. I have been researching Kubota and have narrowed it down to an L3301 or B3300SU. I have found a lot of information on the L3301, but not much on the B3300SU. One thing that worries me is the Kubota financing. I have read of many horror stories when dealing with them. So for this reason I have also looked at the JD 3032E. I have visited both dealerships and have sat in both tractors and it feels like the Kubota feels more comfortable. I would like to get some input from owners of the B3300SU and anyone who has had experience dealing with Kubota Financing. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

I used Kubota financing several years ago. They were very easy to work with. If I ever get to buy another tractor, I wouldn't hesitate to go that route again.

I financed my B3300SU through Kubota and maintained KTAC (Kubota Tractor Acceptance Corp.) insurance.

Kubota is fine to deal with on finance and insurance. (You do have to pay on time.)

The B3300SU is a nice machine. It is LIGHT for its horsepower. Because it is light and because of the large tires, it feels a little unstable during heavy work; any 2,500 pound tractor-loader will feel a little unstable under same conditions. My present L3560 is only a tad larger than the B3300SU but has twice the weight; it is VERY stable.

Large tires make B3300SU mobile in the woods and crossing plow furrows.

B3300SU has a Cat 1 Three Point Hitch but the space around the hitch is somewhat restricted. You cannot pull a full size 2/12" moldboard plow because of the restricted space. Plows designed for B series size tractors are available.

The heaviest Disc Harrow you can pull is one with 18" diameter pans, which generally has just under forty pounds bearing on each pan, the lightest Disc Harrow which is really effective.

The four cylinder diesel is a little loud and pitched high. I am very careful with my remaining hearing and always wore sound deadening ear muffs on the B3300SU. I also always wear ear muffs on my quieter 'Grand L' L3560.

A $300 Ratchet Rake for the bucket is the single most useful attachment for a B3300SU. Great for light grading and brush removal. You will also want two or three 5/16" bolt on chain grab hooks for the bucket.

The steering on a B3300SU is extremely precise.

I had Kubota financing and Kubota insurance on both of the Kubota's I had. I never had any trouble with either.

From Alabama. I have Kubota financing and have never had a problem. You can setup auto payments or do it manually on line.

I am interested in hearing about these "horror stories" with KCC.

I've had two loans with them, one for a RTV (payed off) and one for a tractor (which I still owe for). I made/make a single yearly payment for each.

If you make the payment on time what can go wrong?

In three years on the forums here, I have never seen a post about problems with Kubota financing. Really, I've only ever heard good things about them.

I don't believe I have ever seen any.

You can google Kubota financing problems and you can read some of the stuff people have written about Kubota Financing. Thanks for the positive feedback on this topic, this makes me feel at ease.

Thanks to everyone who provided input on Kubota Financing. This makes me feel comfortable in dealing with Kubota. I did not think that a company this large would not be doing something about their financing if they did have these issues.

I would now like to get input from anyone who has dealt with the B3300SU. I would like to hear what you liked/disliked about it and if the power would be good enough for what I had initially written in my introduction. How much power does the 4 cylinder engine make compared to a 3 cylinder engine?

I would also like to get input on the new Tier 4 engine and if I should stay away from a tractor containing the DPF

Did you open the LINK to the T-B-N archive in Post #3? The LINK has hundreds of T-B-N threads with "B3300SU" in the titles. It will take several days to read them all.

"How much power does the 4 cylinder engine make compared to a 3 cylinder engine?"

Horsepower is a measurable, standard unit of work. Horsepower is horsepower.
The power question you have posted is 90% related to TRACTOR WEIGHT and tire selection, not horsepower.

I would like to thank everyone for your advice and information on tractor experience and Kubota Financing experience. After reading several of the posts, my wife and I decided to visit our local Kubota dealer. After researching Kubota for a while, we were interested in the L3101. Once at the dealer, I got the chance to test drive the L3101 (gear and HST), the L3901 (HST), and also the B2320 (HST). The salesperson answered several of our questions and after test driving all tractors, we came to a conclusion that the B2320 would be the right size for our property. Since this is our first tractor, the L3101 had plenty of power but was large in comparison to the B2320 and felt harder to maneuver. The B2320 felt more comfortable to maneuver since visibility was good from any angle. Maybe it was just me, but this was the reason we decided on the B2320. We did finance through Kubota to take advantage of 0% financing. I have worked it 16 hours since we purchased it and we are very happy with it. It has done what we expected of it so far and does not feel underpowered. Again, it may just be me since we have never owned a tractor before to compare it to. Thanks again for the advice.IMG_20141231_144646965_HDR.jpghttp://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=407074&d=1421516393
