Looking at a used Club Car

I'm looking at a used Club Car electric golf cart for general transport around twenty acres of flat ground. We prefer electric because it's quieter operating, and the wife and I can ride over the place and discuss/talk about things without having to talk over the noise of a gas engine.
The current owner bought it used two years ago. He said the batteries are good, but will probably need replacement in the next year to eighteen months. Said 36 holes of golf is no problem without a charge. Asking price is $750.00
Seems to me that the price is reasonable if the cart is as he said. I intend to look at it this afternoon.
Are there any specific things I should look at before buying this thing? The only thing I can think of (other than does it run) is corrosion in the battery box area. Thanks for any tips.

Where I work we use the electric carts for transportation, and they work great everyday even in sub-zero temps. The first carts were gas and had problems after a short while. One consideration might be the cost of keeping the cart plugged in on the charger. Maybe a solar charger would work for that?

Cost of charging is not a concern. I was hoping to get input regarding potential problem areas to look for. If I was looking for a used car or truck I would know pretty well what I was doing, but I'm not familiar with these things.

I'm looking to get two club cars for my daughters to ride around on. The going price up here for two years old is $1500, so I'd jump at the chance for one at $750.

I had a two-hour drive to see it that turned into three due to an accident on I20. I believe its a 94 model, but will check the SN tomorrow to be sure. Has a windshield and a vinyl cover that goes over the fiberglass top with plexiglass rear panel and door panels so you can keep out the weather. Everything looked near perfect! Drives out fine. No sign of corrosion, but I didn't remove the batteries. The owner said he hasn't had any corrosion problems. Seems he's had it four years and bought it used. Reason for selling is he had an opportunity to buy a one year old cart at a steal. I've been looking for a long time and seemed like I was always half a day late calling until today.

I sure hope you put a deposit on it!! Sounds like a real good buy. Especially with the top and enclosure. I have a 1992 EZ-Go that I bought in 1996 for $1500. I had to replace my batteries last spring and I noticed a good deal of corrosion that I am going to have to address one of these days. Of course my cart lives down in MD near the salt water most of the year. I do bring it home and garage it in the winters. Best price I found on golf car batteries is Sams club even after paying for the membership fee.
